Dr Leon Erdrich
(Osteopath)
Leon is an AHPRA registered osteopath with a special interest in treating the head, neck and jaw. After completing a Masters of Osteopathy in New Zealand, Leon worked across various busy practices in Auckland and Melbourne before moving to the Northern Rivers to start a family in 2020.
Early in his career Leon developed an interest in treating headaches and migraine and after researching these topics further, became fascinated in the links between jaw problems and headaches, dizziness and neck pain and persistent symptoms following concussion. Continuing education in these areas has given Leon expertise to assess, diagnose and treat complex cases that may not have responded to traditional allied health approaches.

In 2024 Leon decided to open a dedicated head, neck, and jaw clinic to provide the Northern Rivers with effective, evidence-based, osteopathic treatment for these conditions. Leon is currently practicing from rooms within Ballina Health Centre and the North Coast Medical Centre. Leon is also part of the Ballina Rugby Club and is looking to connect with other local sports teams and clubs to assist with concussion education and management. Leon also lectures at Southern Cross University and is a clinical educator in the osteopathy programme, helping to train the next generation of osteopaths. In his free time Leon spends enjoys being with his family, cooking, drinking coffee, rock-climbing and body surfing.
